About Prof. Moniri
Prof. Moniri is a Swedish Ear Nose and Throat consultant from the Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden.

He is professionally active in Sweden and Portugal and has an international research collaboration that includes several European countries and the United States.
His research in the fields of Otitis and Sleep Apnoea have been the focus of a tremendous international attention gaining him the status of expert in these fields. Thousand of patients have successfully been treated by Prof. Moniri and his innovative methods, which have laid ground for a new era in the history of medicine.

Biography
After finishing his medical education at the University of Bergen, Norway, he worked at several important hospitals among others Haukeland University Hospital, Bergen, Norway, Karolinska Insititute, Stockholm, Sweden and Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden. Already during the first years of his medical career, he gained a broad experience of different medical specialities among other Urology, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Anaesthesiology and Paediatric Surgery. His capacity of thinking "out of the box" laid the bases for his innovative medical treatments and 3 patents. His curiosity to discover the world led to settlement in different countries with studies of different medical techniques, culture and languages, resulting in speaking 8 different languages. Through his career he has received several prices, grants and scholarships for innovative thinking and is regularly invited to speak at important international congresses. Among others he was subject to a personal endorsement from HM Queen Silvia of Sweden at the Royal Palace in Stockholm in 2014 and is invited as KeyNote Speaker at World Congress of Otorhinolaryngology in Paris in 2017.
